Thursday Sept 18th - Calgary
We’re off! No dramas getting here - very efficient modern airport. The Alamo guy told us we’d got an upgrade from the car we booked - possibly because the car they gave us had been driven up to Calgary from Vancouver. The traffic was pretty bad in Calgary, and roadworks made it difficult to access the underground car park at the Sandman Signature hotel. But we got ourselves checked in, and found a really nice Mexican style restaurant last night that was 90% GF, so lots of choice for Laura. We are at the top of the Calgary tower - having a look around the city before heading to Banff .
